Maxwell Health continues to vaccinate throughout all levels. Whether we can come to your site depends on what level restrictions are in place for your business.
The Flu vaccine this year DOES NOT contain or have any element of COVID protection within it.
This is a tiered approach. It is anticipated that in July the community roll outs will begin. We will be in touch with your workplace in due course.
If you’ve had your 2 doses of COVID vaccinations, you need to allow two weeks before you can have your flu vaccination. Depending on the timings – you may need to receive a voucher at our flu clinic.
If you’ve only had one COVID vaccination at the time of our nurse coming to your workplace – you’ll need to wait until two weeks after the second dose of the COVID-19 before you can have your flu vaccinations. Again, you may need to request a flu voucher.
If you have an appointment/have been told when you’ll receive your COVID-19 vaccination – you’ll need to consider the timeframe of when we are coming to your workplace and when you are booked to have your COVID-19 vaccination.
If the COVID-19 vaccination is going to be two weeks after/from the date of the flu vaccination, then yes you can have your flu vaccination.
If less than two weeks, you will need to request a flu voucher and proceed to have your COVID-19 vaccination. If you were to have your flu vaccination and are due for your COVID-19 vaccination inside of this timeframe – then you wont’ receive your COVID-19 vaccination at the booked time.
